Supervive is currently unavailable to wider audiences unless you’re lucky enough to have a key to the Supervive playtests. However, once the game is released, it will be free-to-play for everyone!
If you’re REALLY lucky, you can jump into a game of Supervive as part of the limited playtests available to Theorycraft account holders. If you’re not so lucky, you’ll need to wait for the official Supervive release date which is currently slated for Q4 2024.
A more specific date has not yet been announced, and likely won’t be finalized until after the beta playtest has concluded. This is because the developer takes an active approach with community feedback, which could impact development times if a significant change is required.
Getting a Supervive key is easier said than done. You stand a better chance of getting a key if you can be referred to the game by someone who already has alpha access. The best way to get a referral is to head over to the Supervive Reddit channel where several players are offering referral codes, but this does not guarantee you playtest access or a key.
If you really want a key, your best chance is to sign up for a Theorycraft account now, link your Twitch account, and then engage with active streams as and when they become available.
Several trailers are already available, with the latest Supervive trailer revealing official gameplay, and the dates of the open beta.
More than likely, yes! While official Supervive system requirements have not been announced, the developer has stated on their Discord channel’s FAQ section that the game adheres to Unreal Engine 5 specs. As such, you will need the following hardware at minimum to meet the Supervive minimum requirements:
Overall, these requirements aren’t difficult to meet for most modern PCs and laptops, but Supervive could well require much more than this hardware benchmark in order to play the game at its very best come launch.
Supervive is a top-down, squad-based battle royale wherein you and one to three other players form a squad of diverse heroes with unique abilities. On forming a team, you will need to explore a massive map covered in hazards such as trains, gaping pits, and much more.
Your goal is to eliminate all enemy squads from the map, but don’t worry if you feel overwhelmed by an enemy team! Supervive features numerous revival systems to keep you in the fight. In fact, if a fight gets too hairy, your best bet is to let one teammate flee the battle so they can resurrect the team at a safe location.
Every game of Supervive is billed to be unique, with numerous game variables changing between matches through “Storm Shifts”, rare bosses, changing objectives, and the unique powers each hunter possesses.
Supervive features several game modes at the time of the alpha and beta tests, including squad battle royale, duo battle royale, and arena deathmatches. More are expected to follow, and additional heroes are set to join the pre-existing 15 which are currently available.
